Dear Fathers, Brothers and Sisters,
Peace and Grace of Jesus.
The tragic events in Ukraine have prompted the Holy Father, Pope Francis, to lead an Act of Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the Feast of the Annunciation, March 25th. The Pope invites each Bishop, together with his priests, to join in this act of consecration, if possible, at an hour corresponding to 5 pm Rome time. The Holy Father will address a letter to the Bishops, enclosing the text of the Prayer of Consecration in various languages. Through this kind note, I urge all in the Diocese, especially the priests, to devout the day for this important intention in the best suitable way and join with the Holy Father in the act of consecration.
