  • Requesting every parish to plan the Lenten programme well, together with the parish team. Instruction to catechumens, sacrament of reconciliation and way of the cross in villages, preparation for confirmation etc. are of great value for the renewal of faith.
  • Coinciding with the ‘Year of St. Joseph’, Pope Francis has announced the Year ‘Amoris Laetitia Family’. It will be inaugurated on 19, March 2021, the fifth anniversary of the Apostolic Exhortation. It is intended to make it a year to bear witness to family love, to recognize the precious value of the sacrament of marriage, to enable families to live out the grace of the sacrament in their daily life etc.
  • In order to take the intention of the Holy Father further to all in the Diocese, there will be a orientation seminar, in collaboration with the CCBI Commission, on 14-15 April 2021 at Nav Sadhana for priests, religious and laity. Requesting the Parish Priests and Superiors to mark the dates. You will receive more details.
  • Church marks 11 February as World Day of the Sick. The day “is an opportunity to devote special attention to the sick and to those who provide them with assistance and care both in healthcare institutions and within families and communities.” In his message, the Pope expresses his spiritual closeness and the Church’s loving concern for those suffering the coronavirus pandemic, especially the poor and the marginalized. In the Parishes we can remember this special intention either on 11 February or on Sunday, 14 February and offer prayers.
  • Shantidham (March 5,6,7) and Yesudham (March 20,21) will hold their Annual Satsang this year in small scale. You may contact Fr. Francis Viyagappan / Fr. Antony Tensingh for more details.
  • Our Clergy Recollection will be on 24, 25 March 2021. We will begin at 9.30 am on 24th
  • Holy Childhood is celebrated universally on Sunday 14, February 2021. Kindly mark the day and make efforts to raise contribution in support of the children in poor mission areas.
  • Government has issued SOP for resuming Junior High School and Primary School. Kindly follow the same. For resuming boarding houses, please be in contact with the Education Secretary.
